FLOWER ENZYME PEEL REVIEW

For a while before having these treatments done, I have had EVERYONE recommend these sorts of treatments as soon as they knew I have an acne prone skin.

Jo from Imogen’s Aesthetics (Imogen’s Laser Skin Clinic) has kindly invited me in to try these treatments and show my readers the wonderful results you can see from just one or a course of these treatments.

First of all, about my skin - I am suffering from adult acne, which started becoming severe around a year ago or so. I have always had some spots, especially around my menstrual cycle however at the end of 2018 I began having issues with cystic acne, which was very visible and painful. My chin and around my mouth tend to get oily, my nose and forehead are dry (dehydrated), and my cheeks are very sensitive. When it comes to combination skin, mine is the perfect example of it.

MY SKIN BEFORE THE TREATMENTS

What is Flower Enzyme peel?

This peel is suitable for all skin types, it is especially good for sensitive skin, or someone who is new to skin peels. It is a superficial exfoliation; this peel will also prepare your skin for any deeper GLO peels. The flower extracts are mild organic acids which gently stimulate and tone the skin while providing antioxidant protection. Any person with a sensitivity to Bromelain (Or Pineapple) should not use this product.

My first treatment.

The treatment was really relaxing. The products are gentle and smell amazing, Jo creates the perfect atmosphere for you where you will feel very comfortable and pampered. You will also receive a neck and shoulder massage, while you have a nice soothing mask on your face.

I noticed a difference on my skin straight after the first treatment. The acne had ‘calmed down ‘, it got rid of the redness in my cheeks and really hydrated my face. I made sure that I left my skin free to breathe for 24 hrs so no products/make up, exercise, hot water or steam rooms. I also noticed that my make-up would glide on after the peel as my skin was so smooth.

AFTER THE FIRST TREATMENT

After a course of Flower Enzyme treatments

After 3 treatments my overall appearance of skin has improved massively. A lot of the acne has reduced considerably. My forehead looks so much more hydrated, glowing, healthy and younger. My cheeks are not sensitive, and my skin looks ‘plumper’.

AFTER THE COURSE OF TREATMENTS

Whatever it is your skin needs, I really recommend popping in and speaking to Jo as she will be able to advise you with the best course of action for you.

I am currently in the process of staring the Glycolic Peels and will be reviewing the whole process shortly.
