I have put together a Christmas gift list that I believe to be worth the money. My ideas may not be super ‘ festive ‘ but I feel like you get the most out of your money and something more than ‘ a gift ‘ when purchasing one of these.
Okay, I get that receive an envelope with a Groupon inside of it might not be as ‘ Insta worthy ‘ as most would like it to be, but it gives you so much more than a pretty and overpriced candle. By receiving something like paintballing voucher will make your present last longer and get one to spend time with others they care about.
The name speaks for itself, yes, again, in theory not as exciting but on a life scale, experiences mean so much for then a materialistic gift. Imagine being able to do something cool like racing a car or a night at the comedy.
I don’t know why this is only becoming more popular as a wedding gift. Flight/travel/holiday voucher should become a norm at Christmas. If you know someone who loves to travel you can treat them to a strip. This doesn’t have to be executive either, with low-cost airlines having discounts ALL THE TIME you can buy return flights for as little as £10.
I am PRO anything that brings people together. although this is a physical gift, its one of the rare times, we don’t go on social media or watch TV but actually, participate in a fun activity with family or friends. Board games are NEVER a bad idea and if looked after properly, will last one year.
JUST GIVE CASH
If you have the spare money and want to give it to someone who wants and needs it, just give them the cash. This way they can spend it on the thing they need instead of gaining another mediocre gift that will barely get used.
