BEST 2019 FASHION TRENDS

Here are some of my favourite fashion trends of 2019

THE STATEMENT HAIR CLIP

I did not hesitate to jump on the hair clip band wagon. It is just the most adorable hair accessory, which can be worn in so many ways. I love the multiple hair clips with middle parting to create a 90’s hair style, I love some loose waves with a side parting and a statement hair clip to create the 1950’s Hollywood look, or the Ariana Grade half ponytails with a bow accessory at the back. There is something there for everybody and every hair style.

50 SHADES OF SAGE

The colour green has been popular over the last couple of years, however as my hair has been pink I have not been able to make the most of it. So soon as I dyed my hair brown, I knew this was my time to shine. Sage is a light pastel shade of green and it is absolutely the new khaki green. Everything in 2019 will be available in sage green. House decor, clothing, cars. You name it, they’ve got it.

LIMES, ORANGES AND PINKS

The neon trend started to come about a few months ago and I must admit I have always associated it with a ‘ chavy ‘ trend. I feel like the hughstreet has managed to turn its reputation around and make neon accessible for everybody. My personal favourite way to wear neon trends is mixing it up with either denim or pleather.

PLEATHER IS THE NEW BLACK

I don’t like to play ‘ favourites ‘ but this may be my favourite trend of 2019. Pleather is definitely for those who are braver and bolder with their clothing choices, for me, there isn’t a pleather item I wouldn’t wear. Some of the best items I’ve seen so far, made with this fabric are swimwear, blazer dresses and beret hats.

SNAKES & LEOPARDS

Animal print is continuing on from 2018 and doesn’t look to be leaving us anytime soon. This, of course, is a great piece of news for our wardrobes as we are able to recycle all of the leopard, zebra, snake and crocodile print items we have bought last year. Combine it with any of the trends mentioned above to create your new, trendy 2019 outfit.
