With Autumn just around the corner, I wanted to share with you some of the most exciting trends of the upcoming seasons
Polka dots, stripes, paisley, florals, animal prints, checks and ginghams have been huge over the summer and this trend will be staying with us over the next season. Mixed prints will be welcomed in our autumn clothing too.
Embroidered shirts and jackets with this beautiful mountain chic theme are starting to appear in our highstreet. If this isn’t your style, introducing a statement accessory featuring folk art could be a great way to incorporating this trend to your current wardrobe.
Leather and pleather dresses will be one of the statement looks of this autumn. With the highstreet already offering a wide range of styles of dresses, everyone can find something they’ll like.
Over the last few years tweed has welcomed us every time it gets a little nippy outside. This time it will be viable in both formal ( suits ) and more casual ( dresses ) form. What is a fantastic way of keeping smart and warm at the same time.
Feel free to go completely over the top and start layering your statement pieces. Accessories, bags and shoes will also be a part of this and they are going to be bigger than ever.
Could the festival life be extended for us this year? Fringe, suede, cow prints and cowboy boots are the next cool thing.
Possibly the most practical trend yet. Printed tights will keep you warm and help you jazz up for outfit. I have found my first pair in H&M and decided to go for a floral print. Thigh high boots will be a great way to help you style your funky tights.
This is something very new and unexpected but very exciting. I have read a lot about the Native American prints to be the new IT trend, however I have struggled to find a good variety of it available of the highstreet. This could be something that won’t be introduced until the second part of the season, but either way I am very excited to see how this will be incorporated into our everyday clothing.
I am so excited to start wearing jumpers again. Oversized knits, cute ott cropped jumpers and knee length sweaters will be keeping you warm this winter. My personal favourite part of this trend is the oversized rollneck detail. Too cosy to resist!
I have also created a video about the upcoming trends so feel free to check it out
